Fr Christmas (Bob Brick)

The time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve is the busiest time of charitable giving for a reason (tax deductions). But it is also a time of year when we’re all feeling charitable in general, to each other and humankind and, we hope, nonprofits.

Providing opportunities for people of all abilities to express their creativity and explore adaptive arts experiences is the mission of ACT-GT. Whether it’s a workshop in watercolor painting, a drumming class, or a dance event, ACT-GT brings people with disabilities together to learn and grow through art.

A year-end donation will “Give ACT a Hand” and provide expanded programming in 2015.

$60 sponsors four adaptive art or dance classes for one adult

$100 sponsors on “Kids on the Block” performance.

$200 provides four guest artist visits in a special education classroom.

$200 sponsors one seasonal community dance.

$500 sponsors an eight-week artist-in-residency program (art, music, dance) in a special education classroom.

Please be generous during this giving season. You can mail checks to 1101 Red Drive, Traverse City MI 49684. For other options, call 231.947.1278.
