ACCESS is an accessible art or cultural outing, hosted monthly by A4A, for teens and adults with disabilities, and their peers. Outings occur in various community locations, and also include quarterly dances at the Elk’s Lodge on Bay St.  We hope you’ll join us for our next program!

June ACCESS – Leo Creek Nature Preserve

June 9th – 11 AM

Join us to explore Leo Creek Nature Preserve on Saturday, June 9th at 11 AM. We’ll check out the trails and gardens, and there will be flowers pots to paint and flowers to plant in them! Take home your creation to spruce up your porch or garden!

In case of severe rain, we will meet at Arts for All at 1222 Veterans Dr. TC, MI 49685 from 12-2!

Leo Creek Preserve is located on the TART Trail in Suttons Bay – please use Google Maps for exact directions.

Leo Creek Preserve is accessed through the trail and is wheelchair accessible. Some of the trails are also wheelchair accessible.

Summer Dance – July 12th

Join us to celebrate Summer at the Elk’s Lodge, from 6:30-8:30!
$5 Admission

ACCESS is generously funded by the Richard B. and Francis SWIAT FOUNDATION.

 

All dances will be at the Elks, 625 Bay St., 6:30-8:30 p.m., with an admission of $5. We always need volunteers to bring healthy snacks and traverse-city-elks-logochaperone, so email us if you’d like to help. Our dance floor is generously donated by the Elks’ Lodge of Traverse City, and Mr.Music DJ Services provides the best music in town, complete with lights and your special requests! We highly recommend both of these local establishments!
