JOB TITLE: Program Director, Part-Time


Arts for All of Northern MI is the largest accessible arts and culture organization in Northern MI, providing programs for individuals of ALL abilities throughout the year in Grand Traverse, Benzie, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Antrim counties. This position is designed to oversee and direct the programs for individuals with disabilities, including monthly art and culture community outings, community festivals and events, quarterly dances for adults with disabilities, Winter/Spring In-Classroom Programs, and the development of additional year round programming. We serve approximately 2,500 individuals in the 5 county area, as well as 40+ classrooms/schools, and growing.

  • Undergraduate degree in Special Education or related field, or at least 3-5 years of related experience

A typical day:

You’ll work with 3 other team members at our studio in a creative and flexible environment. Your days will vary based on programming, but will consist of working independently, as well as in partnership with the Executive Director, to develop and plan new programs, as well as improve and maintain current programs. You’ll  spend time in detail-oriented planning, as well as engaging with community partners and supporters to advocate for and plan new programming and training opportunities. Finally, you’ll work on-site both at the studio or in classrooms or partner locations, helping to facilitate and oversee ongoing programs.
